The Mini Ice Age is a period between about 1300 and 1870 during which European countries and North America were exposed to much chillier winter seasons than during the 20^th century. There was a little bit hotter interval in the 1500s, after which the environment worsened. The interval between 1600 and 1800 represents the height of the Mini Ice Age.
